Orwellova cena 2014 - Orwell prize Award - vítěz Alan Johnson

The Orwell Prize  je veřejně vyhlašována každé jaro. Autoři jsou oceňováni ve třech kategoriích, žurnalistika, blog a knihy, jejichž téma se co nejvíc shoduje s Orwelovými myšlenkami.

V roce 2014 bude short list vyhlášen 23. dubna, a vítězové byli jmenováni na slavnostním ceremoniálu dne 14. května.
Cena mimo jiné ukazuje na propastný rozdíl v kvalitě žurnalistické práce v českých a britských médiích, ale i na negativní přístup českých médiíí k zveřejňovaní pravdivých informací.
